Failed Robot Mac OS

The Mac OS X novelty voice 'Boing' was used for the Robot face (SSF/Splaat) for Klasky Csupo. In one of Boomerang's older blocks Boomeraction, the voice used for the block was a low pitch version of the 'Trinoids' novelty voice. Failed Robot Mac Os X

  1. The update failed due to limited space, but it wasn't able to boot into Mojave anymore because it couldn't find a bootable disk anymore. I tried freeing up space by manually moving the iTunes folder (20GB) to an external drive from the terminal, but somehow it did not seem to see the extra space.
  2. Jul 24, 2011 'There was a problem installing Mac OS X. Try reinstalling'. In the install log there are two errors, but I think they are normal, because the instalation process want to find a partition with MacOS Server. The errors are: Failed to locate volume with UUID AA4-B662-C0760B37587D. Couldn't find Mac OS X (Server) install data.

I understand that ROS Kinetic or Lunar are 'experimental' on OS X (Homebrew), but what does that mean? Does it mean that someone has actually been able to get it installed and simulate a simple robot on Mac? Balldodge mac os. I have been following the steps at https://gist.github.com/jmtatsch/44e7.. 'ROS Kinetic on Sierra Work in Progress' on a FRESH install (system completely wiped and reinstalled) Mac OS X Sierra, but I am running into some difficulties:

Mac Os Catalina

When I perform the step rosdep install --from-paths src --ignore-src --rosdistro kinetic -y, I get an error message robot: Missing resource robot, which I find interesting because presumably it should find the robot metapackage easily within the src/metapackages folder. Keep the keep mac os. Under the assumption that 'maybe this isn't that big of a deal', I continued with the installation steps outlined in the Github, but I am having issues with the step:

It fails almost immediately on:

Why is it even looking for console_bridge in Kinetic? I thought console_bridge was replaced with rosconsole_bridge? Why would there still be a dependency? Turtlegend and the spirit of shapes mac os.

The reasons I can't just install ROS on a Linux box natively are (1) all I have are Mac systems, (2) I can't afford a Linux workstation with suitable performance right now, and (3) I can use a Linux VPS remotely, but applications like Gazebo do not seem to graphically perform well remotely through VNC (I tried this before). What would you recommend?

Has anyone actually got ROS working on Mac OS X Sierra?

If #q267326 is any indication it doesn't seem like this is easy.

For Lunar on OSX:
