Inkubus Sukkubus Profile: British gothic rock/pagan rock band founded in 1989 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire by Candia Ridley, Tony McKormack, and Adam Henderson. An incubus is a demon in male form who, according to mythological and legendary traditions, lies upon sleeping women in order to engage in sexual activity with them. Its female counterpart is a succubus. Salacious tales of incubi and succubi have been told for many centuries in traditional societies. Some traditions hold that repeated sexual activity with an incubus or succubus may result in the deterioration of health, an impaired mental state, or even death.

Inkubus Sukkubus are an English goth and pagan band, formed in 1989 by Candia Ridley, Tony McKormack and Adam Henderson,[1][2] who have been described as one of the most enduringly popular underground Goth bands in the UK.[3] They also have been described by Mick Mercer as a 'zombie version of Fleetwood Mac' in his book Hex Files: The Goth Bible.[4]

Inkubus Sukkubus have released albums and toured the UK and internationally ever since their formation as Incubus Succubus in 1989.
In 1995, they changed their name to Inkubus Sukkubus, citing numerological reasons, and signed to Resurrection Records. The live line-up changed significantly, adopting the use of a drum machine and sequenced backing, with some additional support by a bodhrán, and Adam Henderson moving back to bass.
In 1996, the band appeared live on UK national television on Channel 4's The Big Breakfast,[5] performing the track 'Heartbeat Of The Earth'. 3d game made with scratch mac os.
The band have played many of the major European dark alternative festivals including Amphi, M'era Luna, and the Wave-Gotik-Treffen at Leipzig.
In June 2017, the band hosted a weekend event[6] at St Briavels Castle in the Forest of Dean – a celebration of midsummer with storytelling, history, Egyptian dancing, and a handfasting ceremony.

The group currently consists of guitarist Tony McKormack, vocalist Candia McKormack and bassist Roland Link. The band uses a drum machine and sequencer to provide percussion and orchestral backing. They also perform as a fully acoustic act with Abigail Blackman on cello, Nick Gibbs on violin, and Marcus Gilvear on drums.

In 2013, Candia was the model for a painting called The Sukkubus,[7] by the award winning fantasy artist, Larry Elmore for use in his Kickstarter.
In 2016, Candia was painted by artist Russell Haines for his 'Faith'[8] exhibition, at Gloucester Cathedral. The band also performed at the launch event which the Bishop of Gloucester, Rachel Treweek, attended.

[ STORY OUTLINE ]
A magician prince, INCUBUS the 21st, unexpectedly gets captured by TENKAI, a dropout in the academy and magician.
He is forced to agree into a two week contract. During this time however, he is mercilessly used and abused. Through the use of his special magical powers, he tries to enter into people's dreams where he tries to create sexual dreams for them.
However success is not always guaranteed for this little devil!
INCUBUS wishes to escape the troublesome rules and regulations of the magician's world. He dreams of living freely and regain his dignity as a magician so he deligently works hard at the hands of TENKAI.
Humorous scenes and hilarious situations abound! The other members of the school become their guinea pigs as they become involved in their sexual escapades. What conclusion awaits these two after the two week term?
[ OUTLINE OF THE GAME ]
INCUBUS the 21st and TENKAI's adventure lasts for two weeks. Events change by the day with variations to keep you entertained. In between these events, there are mini-games to face. Your outcome is determined on the results of these mini-games. Depending on whether you succeed or fail at these events is what ultimately determines what you experience as well as the final outcome.
Will you face a happy ending? Or does your fate call for something less fortunate? The multi-endings guarantee hours of enjoyment and lets you play multiple times with no chance of boredom.
